The Plunge (originally called the Plunge in the Park), is the brainchild of Shawn Pitzel, who had a vision for an outdoor baptism event that the entire city could see. Quickly, other churches got involved and it has only grown from there! The Plunge is designed to promote unity among the body of believers, baptize people as commanded by Jesus and evangelize to others in the Sudbury community. Over the past 11 years of holding this event, we have seen over 350 people be baptized!
